The Posts section can be utilized as a blog, newsletter, or just a localized space for information you would like to provide to your users.

When adding a Custom Posts App Page, you can create a page for each category of Posts so users can quickly find what they are looking for.

This is a great way to bring additional traffic to both your website and app.

How to Create a Post

This article will show steps specifically for utilizing this feature to create blog posts, but the steps will be the same for how you choose to use it for your station.

Step 1: Select the Content module in the dropdown menu. Select Posts, All Posts, then Add Post

Step 2: Title your post and begin writing your blog post in the description.

You can utilize the features in the toolbar to change font styles, and add images, files or links.

Step 3: Select a category (which can be managed in Post Categories in the left side menu).

When creating a Custom Posts App Page, you will have the option to select a specific Post Category to show on that specific page.

Step 4: Before you post, make sure to add a Featured Image. This will show as the thumbnail image on your app and website. Once you have everything added, click Save.

How to Manage Post Categories

When creating a Custom Posts App Page, you will have the option to select a specific Post Category to show on that specific page, so it is important to manage your Categories.

Some category ideas often include blog, newsletter, parents, etc.

Step 1: Select Post Categories on the left side menu and Add Category.

Step 2: Enter category name, add a description, and customize the slug, if you choose (example: radiobase.com/blogposts)

You may also add sub-categories by selecting a Parent Category.

Step 3: Select Save.

Step 4: Now you can create a Custom Posts App Page for you app and website!
