As you receive donations, you may need to edit information related to the donation. This Article will provide step-by-step instructions on how to Refund, Reassign, and Cancel Recurring Donations.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: In your Dashboard, under the Contribution module, select Donations in the side menu.
Step 2: Here you can see each donation as well as multiple options related to that donation including Amount, Fee, Status, Donor, Email, Fund Type, Fund, Date, Etc. If you would like to refund a donation, click the Refund button on the Donation line item.
Refund: Refund the donation back to donor
Cancel Subscription: If the donation is recurring, you can end the recurring donation
Send Receipt: Send another confirmation of the donor's donation
If a gift is reoccurring it will have this symbol next to the amount given.
Your donor is also able to manage their donations through your Giving link, logging into their donor profile and selecting My Giving in the menu
Step 3: If you need a receipt for the donation, click the view button to show the Transaction Detail and download the receipt!
